Medical students, residents, fellows, and practitioners use this easy to use, web based, iPad optimized tool to practice and refine their ECG reading skills, as well as skills interpreting Echocardiograms and Angiograms. Cardio Tutor also tracks test results, allowing trainees to monitor progress improvement.
Duke Eye Center
Topsail built a web-based system that doctors, nurses, technicians, and managers use to optimize the flow of over 250,000 scheduled visits per year. EyeChart aggregates data from several Duke Health system interfaces to simplify and speed up data management. It permits doctors to spend more time with each patient, and see more patients daily. Polyglot Med Spanish
Polyglot Med Spanish is designed as an easy to use tool aiming to bridge the communication gap between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients. Polyglot Med Spanish offers immediate audio translation of over 3,000 common words, phrases and assessment questions from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. COACH
COACH is a large-scale healthcare information system sponsored by the Duke Division of Community Health to support the information needs of providers serving Medicaid beneficiaries in Durham County. COACH connects over 30 Primary Care Clinics, 3 Urgent Care Facilities, 5 Emergency Departments, 5 Hospitals, and 5 Governmental Agencies that rely on its information to effectively manage their patients' chronic illnesses. COACH manages 185,000 patients, has over 14 million patient encounter records, and supports over 400 users. COACH was one of Topsail’s first projects and is still a flagship app in its 12th year of operation! See full case study.
NCBroadband
North Carolina Broadband works with service providers and communities to increase broadband adoption in unserved and underserved areas. Topsail developed the NC Broadband public website in addition to several internal data management tools that aggregate data from service providers, federal, and state agencies.
